Welcome to Bookkeeping Your Place or Mine. 

You don't need expensive software or even a computer to manage your bookkeeping needs.   This is where I can help.  As the business name suggests, I can provide bookkeeping services at your place of business or off site.  

I understand that every client has individual requirements.  There is no one size fits all.

It has been my experience that many small to medium businesses would benefit from contracting out their bookkeeping services. Some businesses would also benefit from having a simple and effective filing system and accounts payable and receivable system in place. Again, this is where I can help.  

I strongly believe having these processes in place is an integral part of running a successful business and I can make recommendations for improvement or implementation of a manageable system.

You may wish to keep your bookkeeping processes very simple.  It can be as easy as recording your income and expenses accurately to allow your registered BAS Agent to prepare your Business Activity Statement for submission to the ATO.  This will reduce your accounting expenses and make it easier for your accountant to process your end of year financial statements.

My experience comes from the finance and administration fields, both in the government and the private sector.  I have undertaken a Certificate III in Financial Services and currently finishing off my Certificate IV in Financial Services, Bookkeeping at Charles Darwin University.  My husband and I successfully ran our own small business for many years so I understand the challenges faced by small businesses.
